Our client are looking for a Digital Solutions Specialist to lead national tech projects that make systems run more smoothly, automate everyday tasks, and improve the experience for both clients and travel consultants.

ABOUT THE JOB

Travel Technology Specialist - National Travel Company

In this role, you’ll work closely with top technology partners and internal teams to make sure our systems are working well and meeting the needs of our clients. Your job will be to improve, streamline, and future-proof digital tools so they’re easy to use, scalable, and effective.

What You’ll Do

Manage and improve core travel systems like Tramada, Zeno, Sabre, Magnatech, Kudos, and Compleat.

Look for ways to automate tasks and improve how things are done across corporate and leisure travel.

Work with different teams — including consultants, account managers, and tech providers — to improve how systems are used.

Be the main go-between for our internal teams and tech suppliers to fix issues and keep improving the tools

Set up digital solutions that are tailored to each client’s travel rules and business needs.

Keep up with new technology trends and bring fresh ideas to help us improve how the client works and how to serve clients.

Help roll out new systems, including training staff, writing documentation, and managing the change process.

What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years’ experience in a digital, systems, or operations role in travel or a similar industry.

Good understanding of travel systems, especially GDS (ideally Sabre), online booking tools like Zeno, and systems like Tramada.

Hands-on experience with automation and workflow tools like Compleat (or similar).

Strong people skills – able to work across teams and explain tech in a way that makes sense to everyone.

A proactive approach to solving problems, with strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.

A passion for improving how people use technology.

Interest in new and emerging tech, with a focus on how it can improve customer experience and business performance.

You will be rewarded with an above average salary, remote location in Australia will also be considered.
